He noted that management is suggesting the company could be at breakeven EBITDA by year end, though he "is far less optimistic." Still, given the pressure of its negative cash flow, he thinks Blue Apron will explore a retail distribution partnership, which could have a potential headline benefit. However, Cerankosky added that he expects that even if such a retail distribution partnership was struck, he believes "disappointing sales at retail would likely force such a relationship to die quickly."
