Reports Q1 revenue $1.82B, consensus $1.82B. CEO Adam Miller commented, "The full truckload market remains extremely challenging as carriers navigate the oversupply of capacity, reduced load volumes, and continued rate pressure through the early part of the bid season. This has negatively impacted the results of our Truckload, Logistics, and Intermodal segments...Although our consolidated results are not where we would like them to be, we are confident that we have the resources and are capable of the disciplined approach necessary to navigate the current market...We are continuing our strategy of building a nationwide LTL network through both organic and inorganic growth paths. Our logistics segment will continue to complement our truckload brands, leverage our power-only capabilities, preserve profitability, and afford outsized growth opportunity when the truckload market strengthens. We are building a strong foundation of diverse customers in our intermodal business with strategic rail partners, which we believe will position us for sustained profitability in the future."

RBC Capital lowered the firm's price target on Polaris to $97 from $103 and keeps a Sector Perform rating on the shares. The company's Q1 results were "in-line to ahead" of estimates and the management affirmed its guidance, but while Polaris believes the company's inventory is largely healthy relative to the overall industry, dealers view their general inventory as being too high given the weaker retailing environment and higher/rising floorplan financing costs, the analyst tells investors in a research note.

BofA raised the firm's price target on Texas Instruments (TXN) to $190 from $175 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. TI's small Q1 beat and inline but sequentially rising Q2 sales guidance, "while modest, potentially marks a recovery inflection in industrial chip demand," with positive read-across for U.S. peers such as Analog Devices (ADI), Microchip (MCHP), NXP Semiconductors (NXPI) and On Semiconductor (ON), the analyst tells investors. However, despite an expected recovery, TI's sustained high capex intensity could keep reported calendar year 2024-26 pro-forma EPS below $6 per share, the analyst added.

Baird lowered the firm's price target on Polaris to $100 from $110 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The firm said they beat expectations and reiterated guidance, but shares fell 2% on persistent inventory concerns. Baird believes the stock seems washed out or close to it, but investors need to be convinced "the last cut" to guidance is in place before buying into the 2026 plan.

Citi analyst James Hardiman lowered the firm's price target on Polaris to $96 from $100 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The Q1 upside appears to be a function of expense timing if the reiterated guidance is any indication, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Citi continues to see risk to the remainder of the year, but sees limited downside to shares from here, with its base case implying modest upside over the next twelve months. It believes elevated promotions continue to weigh on the leisure industry.

Deutsche Bank placed a "Catalyst Call: Buy" on shares of Union Pacific (UNP) as a short-term investment idea. With all the attention Norfolk Southern (NSC) is getting in recent months, it is easy to overlook developments at other railroads, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says Union Pacific is now the worst performing pail stock year-to-date. However, operating metrics "clearly show that UNP's renewed efforts on operations are gaining traction," contends Deutsche Bank. It keeps a Buy rating on the shares with a $266 price target.
