RBC Capital analyst Amit Daryanani raised his price target on ASML to $218, saying the company posted "strong" Q1 revenues but saw its extreme ultraviolet product "lumpiness" weigh on the guidance for profitability and margins in Q2. The analyst adds that ASML lowered its EUV shipment target for FY18 to 20 from 22, citing logistical challenges and customer fab readiness. Longer term, Daryanani keeps his Sector Perform rating on ASML but sees bookings as healthy and memory demand remaining strong.
