Piper Jaffray analyst Sean Wieland said athenahealth's selection by New York Presbyterian for its physician EHR and practice management platform shows that the company's enterprise wins are not waning and that its platform is defensible amid consolidation in the space. The analyst, who believes the deal should lower concerns that hospital consolidation will threaten athenahealth's business, reiterates an Overweight rating and $173 price target on the stock.
