Cowen said following athenahealth's Q4 conference call that bookings at the company were better than reported. The firm noted doctor adds were disappointing but they were less of a concern because guidance was reaffirmed by the company. Cowen believes inpatient growth is accelerating and the company may have a large hospital solution ready by next year. Cowen reiterated its Outperform rating but lowered its price target to $162 from $174 on athenahealth shares.
