Benchmark analyst Josh Sullivan initiated coverage of Allegheny Technologies with a Hold rating. While he believes Allegheny's technical expertise has allowed the company to gain share in recent contract negotiations with its largest customers, he sees downside from the abrupt production halt of the 737 MAX and a "relatively full engine supply chain," while also pointing to a down draft in nickel weighing on commoditized products.
