Maxim analyst Allen Klee upgraded ATN International to Buy with a price target of $73, saying the sharp pullback in the stock price was an "overreaction" to near term results and not indicative of the company's long term outlook. The analyst notes that about half of the miss came from "a lower-than-expected earnings base from selling businesses at attractive multiples" and expects the management to redeploy cash on "attractive opportunities and/or buybacks." Klee also notes that International Telecom will help offset the declining U.S. Telecom market and become ATN International's "main growth driver".
