Piper Jaffray analyst Michael Olson says June NPD video game software sales were down 31% year-over-year given a tough comparison from last year's launch of Batman Arkham Knight. The analyst, however, views the monthly data as positive for Activision Blizzard (ATVI), Electronic Arts (EA) and Take-Two Interactive (TTWO). June quarter NPD revenue outpaced expectations for the three publishers, Olson tells investors in a research note. He keeps Overweight ratings on the three along with GameStop (GME).
