Piper Jaffray analyst Michael Olson says May NPD video game software sales were down 21% year-over-year due to difficult compares to prior year launches. Top titles for the month included Nintendo's (NTDOY) Mario Kart 8 and Injustice 2 from Warner Bros. Interactive, Olson tells investor in a research note. He remains comfortable with his estimates and keeps Overweight ratings on Activision Blizzard (ATVI), Electronic Arts (EA) and Take-Two (TTWO).
