After Activision Blizzard disclosed the launch of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 4" broke current-gen console records for total player count and hours played, Baird analyst Colin Sebastian said he viewed these early engagement statistics as another sign of a strong launch. While the company also said the game had over $500M in worldwide sell-through, which is roughly flat year-over-year, Sebastian noted the timing of the release as well as the exclusion of a single-player mode may slightly skew the comparison. The analyst, who said he remains confident in his "Call of Duty" unit sales estimates, keeps an Outperform rating and $85 price target on Activision Blizzard shares.
