Piper Jaffray analyst Troy Jensen views the post-earnings selloff in shares of AeroVironment as a good value buying opportunity for longer-term investors. While Q1 missed expectations, the company remains confident on financial targets for the full year and reiterated FY17 guidance, Jensen tells investors in a post-earnings research note. He continues to like AeroVironment's positioning in fast emerging high growth markets. The analyst lowered his price target for the shares to $31 from $37 and keeps an Overweight rating on the name.
