JPMorgan analyst Harlan Sur believes Broadcom (AVGO) will maintain 100% share in all new iPhone models of the non-RF content, including wireless charging and WiFi/Bluetooth/GPS connectivity, which represents around $10 of content per iPhone. Further, he anticipates 8%-10% dollar content step-up for Broadcom's non-RF wireless chipsets on the 2018 iPhones. Sur assumes some RF share loss to Qorvo (QRVO) on the 2018 LCD iPhones, but says these phones will still have $10 of Broadcom non-RF content per phone. The analyst reiterates an Overweight rating on Broadcom and would buy the stock ahead of Thursday's earnings call.
