BofA/Merrill analyst Param Singh upgraded Avnet to Neutral and raised its price target to $44 from $42 saying the company is benefiting from a shortage in passive components and increased pricing. Singh said margin target of 4.5-5% is obtainable, which would result in increased earnings power, but remains concerned about execution risk.
