As previously reported, Stephens analyst Vincent Caintic upgraded Aircastle (AYR) to Equal Weight from Underweight as he believes the stock's value is now appropriately discounted compared to Air Lease (AL), which he prefers. Sourcing cheaper aircraft will ultimately be a net positive for Aircastle, which should be one of the beneficiaries of disruption to poorly funded, less stable lessors in 2-5 years time, said Caintic, who keeps his $24 price target on the stock.
