Needham analyst Stephen Unger lowered his price target on Agilent to $85 after its "mixed" Q4 results with an earnings beat and a miss in its guidance for Q1 and FY20. The analyst notes that the company's operating expense control in the quarter was "significant" as SG&A and R&D undershot his expectations by $15M and $5M respectively. Unger adds that the management's forecast of core revenue growth of just 2.5%-3.5% despite the "significantly improved LSAM compare and incremental NASD revenue" looks achievable, though offering less potential for meaningful upside. The analyst keeps his Buy rating on Agilent.
