SunTrust analyst Jennifer Demba upgraded BB&T Corporation to Buy saying her meeting with management confirmed that the company is committed to fundamental improvement before more acquisitions. Demba expects a focus on realizing efficiencies as well as share repurchases to benefit the shares over the next year. She raised her price target for BB&T to $40 from $36.
