Piper Jaffray analyst Peter Keith says that while Apple's (AAPL) negative preannouncement for December quarter revenue would appear at first glance to be negative for Best Buy (BBY), he believes the overall read-through to the retailer looks neutral. While iPhone revenues in the U.S. appear to be flat or down, non-iPhone revenues, which represent a greater percentage of Apple sales at Best Buy, accelerated meaningfully for the quarter, Keith tells investors in a research note. The analyst now estimates Apple products helped Best Buy's Q4 comp by 100 basis points. He keeps an Overweight rating on Best Buy with an $81 price target.
