DA Davidson analyst Steven Chercover upgraded Boise Cascade to Buy and raised his price target to $37 from $35, saying that with the "irrational exuberance" having been shaken out of the stock, now is an "attractive entry point". The analyst cites the positive "risk-reward outlook on the commodity front, the stability of the distribution business, the balance sheet, and the esteem" in which he holds the management. Based on its recent dividend payouts, Chercover adds that the management is positioned to "deliver value in any commodity pricing / demand environment."
