Citi analyst Amit Hazan views the post-earnings pullback in shares of C.R. Bard (BCR) as providing a "rare" buying opportunity into the name. Owens & Minor (OMI), Baird's largest distributor, recently lost $525M contract with Kaiser has raised some questions from investors, Hazan tells investors in a research note. After speaking to Bard, the analyst does not expect any impact on sales from the loss since the company also has a sizeable relationship with Cardinal Health (CAH), the distributor who won the Kaiser contract. Hazan keeps a Buy rating on C.R. Bard with a $265 price target.
