Jefferies analyst Philip Ng upgraded Beacon Roofing to Buy and raised its price target to $54 from $50 saying the recent pullback in shares creates a buying opportunity with its increased scale in roofing and new exposure to interior products. Ng said the Allied acquisition nearly doubles Beacon's size and reinforces its presence in roofing and diversifies into interior products, providing diversification, product growth in new areas, and new markets to pursue as a roil up story. The analyst is confident Beacon can drive margins to the top end of its target over the next few years and said management has shown an ability to unlock value from recent acquisitions.
