Credit Suisse analyst Michael Weinstein maintained an Outperform rating and $20 price target on Bloom Energy after speaking with CEO K.R. Sridhar and CFO Randy Furr to clarify and discuss issues raised in a recent short-seller's report. The analyst says he believes the short-seller's claims are "unfounded," adding that data from New York and California indicate 4.6-year fuel cell lifespans, in-line with company statements and projections, and says that while debt financing could pose some challenges, it seems "manageable."
