As noted earlier, Stifel upgraded Brookdale to Buy from Hold. After reports stated that the company is in talks about selling part or all of itself, analyst Chad Vanacore says that Brookdale could carry out "a potential real estate value unlocking transaction." The analyst estimates that the base case, sum of the parts valuation of the company is $23 per share. Price target $20.
