BofA/Merrill analyst Ebrahim Poonawala upgraded Bank of Nova Scotia to Buy and raised his price target to $62 from $52, saying the stock features one of the most attractive risk/reward profiles in the group thanks to its discounted valuations and improving earnings outlook. The analyst adds that his meetings with the company management added clarity to its near and long term growth potential, boosting his confidence in Bank of Nova Scotia recovery from recent underperformance.
