Barclays analyst Adrienne Yih initiated coverage of Burlington Stores with an Overweight rating and $239 price target. The analyst is positive on the strength of the company's off-price model as well as its flexibility, allowing it to be "both offensive when times are good and defensive when the economy is softer". Yih further cites Burlington Stores' recent addition of a new CEO and the recovery from product issues that impacted performance in 2018.
