Jefferies analyst Stephen Volkmann says growth concerns seem overdone after Caterpillar "inadvertently sparked 'peak of cycle' fears" on its conference call. The stock is getting more attractive, although valuation is not yet cheap, Volkmann tells investors in a post-earnings research note. The analyst lowered his price target for Caterpillar to $165 from $170 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares.
