Raymond James said CDW Corporation's announced reseller relationship with Dell is meaningful both financially and historically. Analyst Brian G. Alexander said CDW and Dell were once bitter rivals but over the years Dell has shifted its direct sales strategy to a much more indirect go to market model. Alexander said CDW will expand Dell offerings beyond niche solutions previously and add desktops, notebooks, and servers. The analyst believes the addition of Dell could add nearly $1B to CDW's revenue and 20c in annual earnings and be the most impactful in 2016 and beyond. Alexander rates CDW shares an Outperform
