RBC Capital blames the decline in CDW's stock yesterday on the distribution by its private equity sponsors of all of the remaining CDW shares they own to their respective fund holders. The firm notes that the shares distributed to fund holders can be sold immediately. However, the firm thinks that CDW's fundamentals remain attractive, and it recommends buying the stock on weakness.
