Wells Fargo analyst Jamie Stockton said that after catching up with Cerner management at the firm's conference he came away with the impression that the company "feels very good" about being named prime contractor by the Department of Veterans Affairs, which they noted would like to "move fast." No dollar amount has been disclosed for a VA deal, but he thinks having a prime role could add as much as $1B to Cerner's revenue in 2019 or 2020, Stockton tells investors. He keeps an Outperform rating on Cerner shares.
