As reported earlier, Argus analyst Jasper Hellweg downgraded Cerner to Hold from Buy, saying that while the company's Q4 bookings were at record highs, margins have declined. Hellweg adds that the key contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs that the company hoped to sign in Q4 has yet to be finalized. The analyst trims his FY18 EPS forecast to $2.60 from $2.69 based on these factors, and believes that a Hold rating is more appropriate given the "challenging outlook".
