Cerner's $10B contract with Veterans Affairs falls in line with expectations and removes an overhang on the stock following a near six month delay, JPMorgan analyst Lisa Gill tells investors in a research note. She estimates the new business will add $4.50 of earnings per share power over its lifetime and notes the contract is embedded within management's long term target for 7%-12% sales growth through 2025. Gill thinks the contract creates a positive catalyst for Cerner shares. She keeps a Neutral rating on the name.
