Argus analyst Jasper Hellweg upgraded Cerner to Buy with a price target of $80, saying the company is well positioned for growth having just completed its "self-described 'investment year'". The analyst also notes that Cerner's Q2 results topped expectations for the first time in 4 quarters, while the management has become more shareholder friendly with higher buybacks and a new dividend under activist pressure from Starboard. Trading at 23-times his expected FY20 earnings, Hellweg notes that the stock is still priced attractively relative to its 5-year average of 27-times and the healthcare service peer group average of 27-times.
