Cowen analyst Charles Neivert upgraded Celanese to Outperform and raised its price target to $80 from $66. The analyst said Celanese is successfully transitioning its growth strategy to one driven by performance products from one driven by commodity based cyclical earnings. As a result, Neivert sees earnings growth above consensus and multiple expansion as well.
