SunTrust analyst William Chappell raised his price target on Church & Dwight to $80 and kept his Buy rating after meeting with its CEO Matt Farrell and CFO Rick Dierker. The analyst cites the management's confidence that the pricing adjustment to offset the rise in freight and input costs is "sticking" and will continue to hold for the "foreseeable future." Chappell also points to the "premiumization" in the company's sales mix coming from the higher price innovation in cat litter and liquid laundry detergent products, as well as the appointment of new executives who bring new ideas such as "channel and product analytics" to the company.
