JPMorgan analyst Sterling Auty said Check Point shares are not being rewarded despite what he called "one of the cleanest quarters that Checkpoint has reported in the last two years" relative to expectations. He said the significant improvement in North America results is evidence that the new head of sales is having a positive impact and the company's upside in cash flow also stood out to him. The analyst, who said he would like to see the company use existing cash for M&A deals to bolster future growth, keeps a Neutral rating on Check Point shares, which are down 3% in afternoon trading.
