BofA/Merrill analyst Tal Liani said recent weakness in Ciena shares provides a buying opportunity ahead of 2H 2016 drivers that include strong North American Metro trends, a recovery in EMEA following execution issues, and an expected acceleration in Web 2.0, subsea, and government verticals. The analyst rates Ciena a Buy with a $23 price target.
