Piper Jaffray analyst Troy Jensen said Ciena reported strong quarterly results and he continues to view it as the best positioned system supplier for Metro and DCI, which he calls the two hottest segments of optical transport spending. Ciena's dominant position should allow it to sustain industry leading revenue growth over the next several years, contends Jensen, who trimmed his price target on the stock to $30 from $32 but keeps an Overweight rating on the shares.
