Jefferies analyst George Notter says his positive thesis on Ciena is unchanged following Ciena's "solid' October quarter results. The analyst lowered his price target for the shares to $30 from $32.50 and keeps a Buy rating on the name. Expectations are conservative and the shares trade "meaningfully below their long-term average valuation," Notter tells investors in a research note.
