Stifel analyst Patrick Newton raised his price target on Ciena to $31 from $28 after the company's Q1 earnings and revenue beat his and Street expectations. The company's increased exposure to "healthy growth drivers" makes him increasingly confident in an acceleration in growth in the second half of the FY18, said Newton, who keeps his Buy rating on Ciena shares.
