MKM Partners analyst Michael Genovese raised his price target on Ciena to $32 after Q1 earnings, saying the company's "solid" results and guidance demonstrate its strong fundamentals. The analyst notes the Ciena has "the best Optical Systems technology" as it consolidates its market share. Genovese also sees the trends across the company's end-markets as "constructive", keeping his Buy rating on Ciena.
