Jefferies analyst George Notter raised his price target for Ciena to $38 saying yesterday's July quarter results reinforced his view that the company's "perceived margin issues are normal and temporary in nature." The stock is "too cheap" given Ciena's faster earnings growth and improving consistency, Notter tells investors in a post-earnings research note titled "All Roads Lead to Ciena-Don't Sell Here...Reiterate Buy." The analyst calls the company the "long-term market share consolidator in the space."
