Cowen analyst Paul Silverstein said his industry checks indicate Ciena will introduce the industry's first 800G per wavelength optical DWDM solutions in March, which he believes will extend its technology and market leadership. The analyst believes it could generate an incremental $100M-$200M over a two-year time frame. Silverstein reiterated his Outperform rating and $39 price target on Ciena shares, saying that the stock remains one of his favorite investment ideas.
