Nomura Instinet analyst Jeffrey Kvaal raised his price target for Ciena to $50 saying the company has now delivered significant sales and earnings upside for three straight quarters. The analyst adds that while bears may not like that the company's run of gross margin beats ended, he's "somewhat relieved," as he considers upside to both sales and margins difficult to sustain. He keeps a Buy rating on Ciena.
