Cowen analyst Paul Silverstein raised his price target on Ciena to $51 from $39 following Q1 results that reinforced his view of its long-term operating trajectory. The analyst said its results reflect growing strength driven by improving end demand, a strong competitive position, and ongoing revenue diversification. Silverstein reiterated his Outperform rating on Ciena shares.
