Evercore ISI analyst Amit Daryanani initiated Ciena with an Outperform rating and $48 price target. The analyst said he expects Ciena to see prolonged share gains due to "incrementally weaker" competition. Daryanani added that Ciena should be able to increase share gains as it has a leading position with hyperscale vendors and presence in high growth areas such as India, Japan, and others.
