Craig-Hallum analyst Chad Bennett believes the return of CEO Robert Bearden brings back "credibility and hybrid vision." Further, the new Cloudera Data Platform product and licensing model "creates a meaningful competitive moat," Bennett tells investors in a research note. The company estimates that its total addressable market will grow from $25B to about $48B over the next three years, says the analyst, who thinks Cloudera's market opportunity can't be understated. Bennett thinks Cloudera being the only true enterprise scalable hybrid platform in the market is going to be "meaningful to enterprises and potential suitors." The analyst reiterates a Buy rating on the shares with a $16 price target.
