Catch up on today's top five analyst upgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Chipotle (CMG) upgraded to Overweight at JPMorgan by analyst John Ivankoe, who said the company's same-store sales are set to sequentially improve from their bottom in Q1. The analyst expects the company's earnings in FY17 to be very close its FY14 earnings, saying that Chipotle can regain customer trust with time. 2. 3D Systems (DDD) upgraded to Buy from Underperform at BofA/Merrill following two years of underperformance citing the new strategy and direction by new CEO Vyomesh Joshi to align the cost structure with revenue growth to drive improving profitability. The analyst adds that portfolio optimization will lead the company to a path to earnings upside, even if secular demand for 3D printers is weak. 3. Baxter (BAX) upgraded to Overweight at Piper Jaffray with Brooks West saying that the company's free cash flow is being underappreciated by investors. West said that the free cash flow provides the company with optionality for a larger deal to drive growth. 4. Applied Materials (AMAT) upgraded to Buy at UBS by analyst Stephen Chin, who said he is more confident regarding the OLED investment cycle following company meetings in Korea. Chin added that he believes Apple's (AAPL) iPhone models could use OLED as early as 2H17 before wider adoption in 2018. 5. Red Hat (RHT) upgraded to Overweight at Pacific Crest with analyst Ben McFadden saying that the company appears well positioned for any cloud world.
