After Coherent reported higher than expected EPS but lower than expected revenue, and provided lower than expected revenue guidance for its March quarter Stifel says that the company's record backlog indicates that momentum in its flat panel display business is building. The firm is upbeat on the outlook for the flat panel display business and recommends aggressively buying the stock.
