Citi analyst Jim Suva views yesterday's selloff in shares of CommScope after the company lowered its 2018 guidance as a buying opportunity. The guidance reflects incremental price pressure at North American operators for 2018 and 2019, which is leading to short-to-medium term margin compression, Suva tells investors in a research note. The analyst lowered his price target for the shares to $36 from and $47 and keeps a Buy rating on CommScope.
