As previously reported, Raymond James analyst Simon Leopold downgraded CommScope Holding to Outperform from Strong Buy, stating that he is concerned that performance of the acquired ARRIS business will be worse than expected. Operators' transitions to virtualized architectures have decreased the prospects for recovery from the CCAP portion of ARRIS, said Leopold, who lowered his price target for CommScope shares to $21 from $25. However, he notes that he still expects favorable trends in other segments along with strong cash generation from CommScope.
