Wolfe upgraded ConocoPhillips to Outperform with a $50 price target ahead of the November 10 analyst day on increased conviction it can deliver deliver flat production while maintaining capital spend $5.5bB annually. The firm's analyst thinks the Eagle Ford, Bakken, & Delaware positions can effectively offset base production declines elsewhere with higher margin barrels, paving the way for improving free cash flow over the next four years.
